In our 3 hour raid slot, we made it to Saurfang.
It’s on the short side, there’s mentionable trash before Marrowgar, then between Marrowgar and Deathwhisper, but that’s pretty much it. I have a feeling that it’ll be old again in a few weeks, but for a first night, it was a lot, a lot, a lot of fun. You know, I kind of find tanking 5 mans harder than tanking raid bosses.Īs much as I complain, it was really nice to explore new instances and I wish I hadn’t been so pressed for time. Line of sight pull you say, but no corners or stairs to use. As I did that, the dps would invariably target the mob currently standing the furthest away from me, steal aggro and die. A lot of caster trash standing close enough together to be pulled at once, but far enough apart that I would have to run from one to the other to keep them interested in me. I don’t know if it was me or what, but I found there was a lot of caster trash. It wasn’t enough and I was called away to raid halfway through the second one. I had a little over an hour to do the new 5 mans. I took a much needed evening away from the books (which may or may not have been a good idea) and played around in the new instances, then had some fun in ICC.
I really wish this wasn’t the middle of finals and I could enjoy my patch 3.3 without feeling horribly guilty. If I understand correctly, every mini-event we encounter have to be triggered, completed and not skipped.Yay for middle of the night blog updates! No ability or item to prevent trash mobs from engaging are allowed. The group can skip trash mobs that can be passed without engaging them.
We are unsure how to interpret "engaged naturally" and how this new clarification works with the rule: "-You can skip some trash mobs if you can, as long as you find a legit way to do it."įor example, if a group stealths past trash mobs they otherwise would have to kill, would this be considered skipping naturally engaged trash mobs and lead to not having the run approved?Īre any of these interpretations correct?Ī: Using any legit/blizzlike way to skip trash mobs is allowed, trash mobs that aren't skipped in this way and are blocking your path needs to be killed.ī: Using any legit/blizzlike way to skip trash mobs is allowed, but if they are at any point engaged by the group they have to be killed.Ĭ: Every trash mob blocking your path to the bosses needs to be killed. Thank you very much, we really hope you enjoy the tournament. The final speed challenge clasification shall provide the following amount of points for the Tournament:
This is the table of the minutes that each Heroic boss can remove from your final timer: If players decided to do some of the bosses in their Heroic version, some bonus will be applied. What if one team does not kill all the bosses? The timer will stop the same second that The Lich King casts Fury of the Frostmourne or the timer/video ends if you do not kill all the bosses. You can skip some trash mobs if you can, as long as you find a legit way to do it. That we fought for the freedom and safety of our people." Regardless of outcome, they will know that we fought with honor. What happens here will echo through the ages. The players can start running and proceed to the next area when the two The Damned NPCs at the end of the Light's Hammer die and Highlord Tirion Fordring yells: All the participants must start at the Light's Hammer and everyone must remain in this area.
